At Greater Purpose Charity, we believe that no single mother or orphan should face life alone. Founded by Irene Apolot Akot, a resilient single mother who turned her own hardships into hope for others, we are committed to creating opportunities, restoring dignity, and building sustainable futures for vulnerable families across Uganda.

We partner with local leaders and organizations to create sustainable community projects—improving livelihoods and restoring hope to vulnerable populations.
We provide nutritional assistance, healthcare support, and emotional counseling for struggling families to ensure holistic well-being.
We equip single mothers with vocational and business skills such as tailoring, craft-making, farming, and entrepreneurship—helping them become financially independent
We support orphans and vulnerable children with school fees, learning materials, uniforms, and mentorship to ensure they stay in school and build better futures.
